A holiday gift to Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy will bring comfort and joy to someone like Mark.

Mark worked for years as a maintenance man at McDonald's when he started having difficulties in 2016. He ended up in the hospital, where he remained for two months with a diagnosis of diabetes. Mark's diabetes progressed; it was necessary for the removal of a toe and part of the bottom of the foot. That's when he first heard of Ozanam. We helped him with meds and Mark had improved enough after skin grafts, to go back to work. He loved working and was careful to soak and dress his toe and his foot though he had difficulty keeping it dry. After a time, the toe and foot became infected with the infection going to the bone. In June of 2018, Mark lost his leg from the knee down. For a year, he managed with crutches, and in April 2019, he received a prosthesis. Mark said the Ozanam saved his life.
